From an Entrepreneur/Manager/Recruiter point of view, finding, hiring and retaining Fresh Graduates in a job market like Thailand, with lots of job offers available and a very low unemployment rate, is not an easy task.
Unless you are a big international brand like Google, IBM, Nike, Coca Cola, etc or a famous local company like True, Central, Sanook or Dtac, it is a challenge to interest and attract young professionals looking for their first job.
Enters JobNisit.com
Founded by Jens Pold and Alexander Kerbo, two Estonian nationals who have been studying in some of Bangkok’s most prestigious universities, JobNisit takes a different approach to recruitment.
Instead of simply listing job offers and waiting for candidates to apply, JobNisit will analyze the job seekers profiles and suggest them the best job offers based on their education, their experience and their career project.
Head hunters? Not really. JobNisit collect the fresh graduates applications first, ask them to fill in a detailed profile and then, thanks to a specifically designed algorithm, matches the profiles with the job offer requirements. With such a methods, they claim, every job offer (ie every company) has its chance to match with candidates profiles and therefore be the one recommended, whatever the size or popularity of the company.
How does it work? Do small businesses really have a chance against large corporations? How much does that cost?
To answer these questions and more, we have invited the two co-founder to come and talk at Bangkok Entrepreneurs.
Join us on Wednesday 17 June 2015 at 19:00 at the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel to learn more about JobNisit, the team, the tools, and their ambition on the Thai employment market.
