Echelon Thailand, organized by e27, is one of the largest Tech event in Bangkok (and Thailand!). The agenda is a mix of talks by local and regional Entrepreneurs and Investors, panels of discussion between Industry Experts and of course Startup pitches, and for the winning Startup, a free flight to Singapore in a few months for the next round (don’t miss the Startup competition and results, at the end of Day 1).
Echelon is also an excellent Networking opportunity with the speakers and the attendees, during the event of course but also at night, during the after party.
Many of the event’s speakers and panelists are the usal local “stars” (Amarit “Aim” Charoenphan: Hubba, Oranuch “Mimee” Lerdsuwankij: ThumbsUp, Patai Padungtin: Builk, Krating Poonpol: Disrupt University, Denis Nemtsev: Hipflat, Adrian Vanzyl: Ardent Capital, Robert Zepeda: Playbasis, “Moo” Natavudh: OokBee, Paul Srivorakul: aCommerce, Tiwa York: Sanook/Olx.co.th, etc.) that you probably all already know (or you must be new to the local Tech scene?), but there will be also a few new faces and some regional speakers.
I am personally looking forward to listening to Hugh Mason, founder of JFDI Asia and investor, who I had the opportunity to meet once in Singapore and who impressed me with his comprehensive knowledge of the regional startup scene and the dynamism of his accelerator program.
